Set up camp next to the railroad, not the best idea. But the morning does come and how amazing it was!! We were able to see the sunrise from bed. Daniel set up the tent perfectly in the dark, he really does have a mountain man instinct.

The last section of road to skagway!! Whoop whoop!! We busted butt on the 3rd day of driving, speed limit 100 km yeahhhh 140 km/hr sounds good.

Chilkoot trail is calling our name!!!!!!

First catch, tanner crab. It was huge!!! The body was a little over 5 inches.

I am declaring myself out of hibernation after this hike!! It was so sick! Climbed just under 5,000 ft of elevation and traveled about 14 miles. Had one of the most fun descents of my life off the big mountain by super-maning it down the snow on my stomach for nearly 3 football fields. I could die a happy man! It was so flipping good! I wish I had had my gopro up and working!

We're There!! Whoop Whoop!!!

Daniel and I made it to Skagway, Alaska!!!!!!!!! After a long but spectacular 3-day drive through Alberta, British Columbia and the Yukon we finally made it. We took a few pit-stops along the way. Most noteworthy being, Banff National Park and Jasper National Park both in Alberta Canada. Daniel's puppy Sheeba, was pretty good the first few days. We had some sweet moments along way. Some amazing sunrises and amazing views of the Rocky's and all the glaciers and ice fields in the national parks.

We made a stop at the hot springs on the Alaskan highway that was super enjoyable! It did us a lot of good too. We had a good time there. Daniel must have put something in my drink because he got me laughing hysterically a number of times.

While at the hot springs, we were doing tricks off of a floating log. One of the tricks was to get a running start on the land, jump onto the log, take a few more steps and then do a back flip. It sounds easier that it was because the log was super wet and slippery. I tried it and was successful. Then Dan said he had never been able to do a back-flip. I said, "you can totally do it! It's easy sauce!" and something else like, 'there's nothing to worry about, you can't get hurt doing it into water.' Obviously after that conversation Daniel decided to try the trick I had done. He did pretty good up until the take-off. On his last step on the log his foot slipped right off. In mid-air he realized his flip wasn't going to work but it was too late to bail, so he landed straight on his back. It was so good! Right after that he was getting after his dog to calm down and sit. But instead of saying, '"Sheeba Sit!" He says, "Seba Shit!" To say the least I got a pretty good laugh out of it. I've been giving him a hard time about it ever since. Probably one of the best quotes ever from him. Haha, good times at the hot springs!

Anyways there all you people are that are wanting to hear about our adventures. There are a ton of them and we will try our best to give an exciting and brief report on our adventures/outings/everything else awesome that we experience up here in Skagway.

As a side note, we would both be disappointed if anyone was to waste too much of your time reading about us! We hope if anything that this blog inspires you to go out and enjoy everything that this beautiful world has to offer!
